From Digital to Display: The Art of the Perfect Canvas Print

We specialise in turning your high-resolution images – be it a professional wedding portrait, a panoramic landscape, or a vibrant piece of digital art – into stunning canvas prints. Our process focuses on bringing out the best in your chosen artwork:

• Gallery-Wrapping Excellence: Our canvases feature a professional "gallery wrap," where the image extends around the sides of the stretcher bars. This creates a clean, contemporary, and finished look that requires no additional framing, though framing options are available for those who prefer them.
• Perfect Sizing for Your Space: We understand that every wall is unique. That's why we offer a comprehensive range of frame sizing options, from intimate smaller pieces to truly grand large-format canvases. Our team can guide home decorators through selecting the ideal dimensions to complement your room's scale and existing décor, ensuring your new artwork becomes a natural, impactful extension of your home.
• Meticulous Quality Finish: Each canvas print undergoes a stringent quality control process. We use only premium canvases and archival inks, ensuring vibrant colours, sharp details, and a finish that resists fading for generations. Our attention to detail means every corner is perfectly folded, every staple precisely placed, creating a truly flawless product.

Unwavering Commitment to Quality & Craftsmanship

Our reputation at Phimedil Designs is built on an unwavering commitment to quality. From the moment your digital file enters our system to the final stretch of canvas onto its frame, every step is executed with precision and care. Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Canvas Printing

What is gallery-wrapped canvas?

A gallery-wrapped canvas is one where the image extends around the sides of the stretcher bars, creating a continuous, three-dimensional look. This modern finish allows the canvas to be hung without a frame, providing a clean and contemporary aesthetic.

How do I choose the right size canvas print for my wall?

Consider the scale of your room and the wall space available. For a focal point, larger canvases often work best. For a gallery wall, a mix of sizes can be effective. We recommend measuring your wall space and even using masking tape to outline potential sizes to visualise the impact before ordering. Our team can also offer guidance based on your photo's resolution.

What kind of images are best for canvas printing?

High-resolution digital images are ideal for canvas printing to ensure clarity and detail, especially for larger prints. Professional wedding photos, artistic photography, and high-quality digital art files with good lighting and sharp focus produce the best results. We always advise checking your image resolution before submitting.

How do you ensure my canvas print arrives safely?

At Phimedil Designs, we utilise custom-designed, smash-proof UK shipping packaging. Each canvas is securely protected within its packaging to prevent any damage from impacts, moisture, or bending during transit. Our rigorous packing standards ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition, ready to hang.

Do you ship canvas prints all over the UK?

Yes, absolutely! We proudly print and ship all our custom canvas and large format frame orders from our UK workshop directly to any address across the entire United Kingdom. We offer free standard UK shipping, with an option to upgrade to Tracked 24 for faster delivery.
